Suffolk Alcohol Treatment Service (SATS)
The SATS (Suffolk Alcohol Treatment Service) is an easily accessible service which welcomes people from all backgrounds. It provides support to people experiencing difficulties with their use of alcohol who want help to overcome their problem-drinking and to turn their life around.
The service currently provides:
- Assistance with detox in the community
- One to one therapeutic keyworking
- 12 week group work package
- Training for other professionals
- Assessment for residential rehabilitation
- Self help packs
- Complimentary therapies

NORCAS Ipswich Alcohol Service
NORCAS Ipswich offers free confidential advice, assessment, counselling, group support, harm reduction and relapse prevention work from alcohol users, their relatives, friends or colleagues. We operate from our Ipswich base and around Saxmundham, Bury St Edmunds and Stowmarket.

The Matthew Project
The Matthew Project provides advice, support and treatment for young people as well as supporting parents, carers and professionals who work with young people. The service provides a wide range of interventions and support including one to one support and psychosocial interventions for young people, support for professionals working with young people (eg school teachers), outreach across the county, and is single point of contact for young people, parents, carers and professions needing advice or support about drugs and alcohol.
